FESTIVAL FACTS

WHAT TIME DO THE GATES OPEN?
Gates open at 3PM. Live music finishes at 10:30PM with the playing field cleared by 11PM.

CAR PARKING
If you can, please come on foot or get dropped off at the event. Visitors arriving by cars will be directed by parking marshals onto the recreation ground where parking will be made available. The field will be left open overnight so you can leave your car and pick it up in the morning.

We would ask you not to park on Moor Lane or the surrounding estates to ensure a clear thoroughfare.

CAN I BRING MY DOG?
Unfortunately not. For the safety of others, especially children, we only allow registered assistance dogs into the event.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS BAD WEATHER?
If the festival grounds are safe then the event will go ahead regardless of weather. Bring an umbrella if there’s rain forecast, but please no tents or marquees. We might revisit this rule if the weather looks particularly bad – keep an eye on our social media feeds nearer the time.

HOW IS THE EVENT SUPPORTING GOOD CAUSES?
The event is organised and run by a team of volunteers. All profits from the event are used to support local good causes. In 2021, we made donations to the local Scout group, swimming pool, pre-school and squash club. Wherever possible, we aim to support the community by using local traders and breweries to supply the event.

WILL WE HAVE A SEAT?
It's first come, first served. You'll find some seating in the marquee. Feel free to bring folding chairs and picnic blankets to the festival or just dance your way through the day.

CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD/DRINK?
We’ve tried to price our drinks offerings reasonably and there will be some excellent local caterers at the event. We want you to support them so they can come back next year, and for that reason, outside food and drinks aren’t permitted into the event, with the exception of bottled water and juice boxes for kids. Any other outside food or drinks won’t be allowed beyond the entry gates.

OUCH... IS THERE FIRST AID?
LIVES will be on site throughout the festival providing support. If you're in need of medical assistance, please speak to a member of staff or the security team.

NEED THE LOO?
There are portaloo toilets for guys and toilets in the pavilion for girls as well as disabled toilets. You may have to queue... patience is a virtue.

Top tip: Like all bustling festivals, although we make every effort to restock the loos with handwash and toilet roll, you might like to keep a supply on you in case of emergencies!
